It's that time of year again, when the major, hurried planning takes place. As it draws closer to Halloween, the town grows busier and busier in preparation for that special night. Everyone's getting ready... even those not allowed in the town. Can Jack find out what Oogie and his henchmen are up to before the big night?

((W00t! Finally! And seeing as I've been listening to Nightmare Revisited all day, I'm in the perfect mood for such a roleplay!))
Ah, yes. It was almost Halloween again. It put even the dreariest of citizens in good spirits, which meant Laura whistling 'This is Halloween' wasn't as odd as it may sound. Even Shadowfang seemed a bit less snappy. Most of the cats were patrolling around town to make sure no one banned tried to worm their way in-er, no pun intended. Shadowfang, however, was sitting on the edge of the Town fountain, watching Laura thinking. "What're you doing?" the cat asked. "Nothin'," the blond shrugged. Really, though, she was trying to think of some way to make herself scarier. It wasn't really fair to be one of the only Halloween citizens to not even be remotely scary. She didn't count Ali, because she was Sailor Nightmare. She was there to defend the Holiday Worlds, she just lived in Halloween Town by chance. Speaking of the undead Sailor Scout, she was leaning against a wall nearby, watching the fuss over Halloween. Surely a certain trio would be up to no good. It was like clockwork. The town's excited, Boogie's Boys were up to no good.

As expected, the males of the Boogie's Boys could be found slinking towards the town, stopping occasionally to scoop up rocks and place them in already-bulging pockets. "I wonder what sort of tricks they're working on today!" Lock grinned, yellow eyes flashing mischevously. There was no doubt that he would be attempting to screw up said tricks if he could. "I dunno, but maybe they're making candy.." Barrel drooled. If anyone-- aka Jack-- caught them sneaking in, the boys would probably claim that they were going to help out. Besides, they needed to figure out what the town was doing, on Oogie's orders. They wouldn't be able to do so if they were kicked out as soon as they were spotted.

(( Since Ali is here, and I originally made Sailor Twilight a TNBC character, I'll have her here to make Sailor Nightmare's job a living hell. *coughtryingtotakeovertheholidayworldscough*))
A beautiful, perfect and stunning goddess like creature paced back in forth in front of a pumpkin door. She had on a very short hot pink dress strapless and very low cut and tight fitting. She had matching pink high heels and hot pink ribbons floating gracefully around her arms. She brushed a long, silky brown pigtail behind her back and gave a 'hmmp' of whatever. "Haro...Do you think Nightmare's there?" she asked a hot pink ball floating around her pretty head. The pink ball responded back to her. "Haro! Haro! Yesss!" the robotic ball cried out happily. The girl smiled mischievously. Even though Sailor Nightmare, friends since one little incident where she took over the town and lowered the self-esteem of the idiot Jack, they had some how become friends..And Enemies. Sailor Nightmare had band her from ever returning, all because of her beauty. Some friend! She had told her she caused to much trouble and something else about someone named Oogie. Bitch! "Let's...Go make my BFF's life a living hell," the girl laughed out loud. It was all bells that laugh..But it had a sinister edge to it. She lifted a perfect, not one nail broken, hand to teh pumpkin door. She slowly opened it and jumped inside the big gaping black hole into Halloween Town.
Laying down in a foggy graveyard, a young man threw up a shiny metal scalpel and caught it effortlessly in his hand. He stared up at the dark sky, and could hear everyone preparing for Halloween. What fun! He hated everything about this world. How no one was as scary as him, as cool as him, and that their leader was dumshi* who couldn't do anything right. If he put an effort into this Holiday, and not so much trying to destroy other holidays *Growl Cupid Growl* he could be the most bad ass and frightening thing here. He actually was the most scary thing here. He was a real life murderer, who had killed tons of girls, or things is what he calls them. Hell, maybe he could finally grace his awesome presence here on Halloween Town and they could all bow down and worship him. He got up and started to head toward the fountain in the town.
(( I know..That reply sucked...))

Alice squeezed through the black iron cemetery gates, figure barely casting a shadow. She climbed atop a small tombstone and sat, feet dangling over the open grave beneath. She pulled off her mask and set it in her lap, then pulled up her scarf over her mouth. Her hand fingered the small candy cobwebs she has collected on her way there along with the candy corn packet she had silently filched from a stand, one of the positive things of not being noticed often. "Halloween." She thought. The highlight of the year. What would she have to contribute to it? She swung her legs back and forth, gazing up at the stars that shone dimly through the cemetery fog. It had almost been an entire year since she'd been here, and she'd missed out on last year's Halloween. Impeccable timing, as always. A black cat leapt up onto her lap, causing her to almost fall back, startled. Alice smiled slightly, as well as the tight stitching would let her. The cat glared at her grumpily when Alice put her mask back on. "I have an idea, kitty. Why don't we go into to town and see what we can do this year! Maybe we can run some errands," Alice whispered. She picked up the cat into her arms and bound out of the cemetery as fast as she could without tripping. She took a short cut to the Town Square, careful to try to avoid the man with the small metal object from earlier. As she got nearer she noticed a young trio nearing town as well. Alice couldn't help but become curious, as she'd heard some things about this notorious group though she hadn't quite met them yet. She could tell who they were when the cat leaped out of her arms and ran in the opposite direction. But unlike the cat (who had probably more sense than her), she was undeterred by the stories she had heard. Alice slowed her pace and walked towards the town in her normal, quiet, near invisible gait. She kept her eyes on them, knowing that the shadows were still long enough to where her eyes wouldn't give her way.
