This is a short oneshot I'm thinking about posting on ff.net. Tell me what you think of it!
-----
It was love at first sight. Jack loved her the first moment he laid eyes upon the object of his affections, ever since they met inside Tia Dalma's hut. He would never admit that he loved her- he barely even gave her a second glance after he first saw her. To him, she was ordinary, just like all the others. Nothing important. And this is the man who considered himself a chick magnet. He ignored true love when he saw it, opting instead to chase after Elizabeth. Now, before you protest, his only intention was to irk Will. That was one of his favorite pastimes. But she... She came with them, on their journey to find Davy Jones's heart. At first, her importance was ignored, mocked, scorned. Even Davy himself laughed when he saw her.
But now, Jack would die if she were killed. He would sail through the seven stormy seas, just to find her if she were kidnapped. If she were hurt in any way, he'd kill whoever hurt her. He'd even give up drinking rum if it meant that she would be by him forever.
Well, she was perfect in every way. Nice, smooth exterior, shorter than he was, curves in all he right places, didn't talk back, had a dark tan color... In other words, the most perfect jar of dirt anyone had ever seen.
Jack loved his jar of dirt. He always has, and always will. For she was supposed to help him against Davy Jones, and the transformed fish-man's heart was placed inside her. His precious jar of dirt… He even wrote a short song to praise her and to taunt Davy. But it must have been written in the stars that they would be apart forever. The Kraken loomed behind the pirate, just as he... broke free of the chains binding him to the mast of his ship. The Black Pearl, formerly known as the Wicked Wench, was about to be reclaimed by Davy and his Kraken. He regained his hat, wiping the Kraken's slime off of it and placing it on its rightful position atop his head. Then... darkness. And warmth. A captain always goes down with his ship. And he was headed straight for Davy Jones's locker, he knew it. As soon as he died from the Kraken's stomach acids, he would find himself in pirate hell. A sort of purgatory. And his jar of dirt... gone. Forever.
