O.o Holy crap Shock scares the living daylights out of me!
As for how I discovered this MAGNIFICENT movie...
About 9or 10 years ago, I saw a preview for TNBC on the old Charlie and the Chocolate Factory VHS. I saw Jack walking up the hill, and the words "Nightmare Before Christmas". And I will admit this: When I saw that preview, it scared the pants off of me. Fast-forward to about 2 years ago. Up until then, mummies and skeletons terrified me. No clue why. My uncle, aunt, baby cousin, grandma, and grandpa had come up for Christmas and wanted to watch the VHS my mom had gotten (about a year before, I should probably add). We watched it. Oogie Boogie and the Boogie Boys terrified me. I remember Lock saying "To Oogie Boogie, of course! There's no place more comfortable than that! And Jack said to make him comfortable, right?" or however Paul Reubens said that. The movie scared me. Then, last year, the marching band played TNBC. Now, this is after I watched movies like the Omen and War of the Worlds, and the Alien movies. So after hearing them practice every day while I was in my first period math class (in a portable, which I am now thankful for), I remembered the movie. I dug it out and watched it, and loved it. Obsession time. And then half a year later, this site was created. Thank you Tim Reynolds and E-Man for making me obsessed with this wondrous creation of Tim Burton's! ...O.o And I just realized that the band director's name is TIM... O.o

*Lauighing* You're band director's name is TIM??? I'd tell you mine orchestra director's name, but that's confidential, so... And the very first time I saw it, me and my friend were making fun of it. -.-

Well... *looks around nervously* I probably shouldn't say because if she hears, she'll try to rip me limb from limb... *cough* But it's her voice, her evilness, her nose, her weapons, her evil plans, et cetera...

*shudder* She was Delia Deetz in Beetlejuice. Catherine can do ANYTHING. So can Danny. He can make his voice low, and high-pitched... *sigh* I worship that composer.

I forget how I discovered TNBC, but I went to see it when it first came out. I was scared to death of Lock and Shock. I forget why Shock scared me, but Lock scared me because I associated him with Pee Wee Herman. (And no, I didn't know at the time that he was voiced by Pee Wee Herman.)
