Sorry... I was bored... and I had an urge to write this... It's a one-shot.
-------------
The kiss in the moonlight. It was Christmas, and Sally wished the kiss would never end. She shivered slightly as the snow gently fell from the sky. Jack pulled his head away, looking down at his feet. "God, Sally, I'm sorry, but I already have a girlfriend..." he began.
Sally felt as if she had been slapped. It couldn't be true... it was impossible! She forced a smile. "Wh-who's the lucky lady?" she asked, trying not to show her sadness.
Jack hesitated. "Well, the lucky lady? Um, she's, well..."
Sally, growing furious, snapped, "Just say it already!"
Jack had an embarrassed grin on his face. "It's Shock..." he said quietly.
"Hey Jack!" the mentioned witch greeted as she climbed up the hill with a grin. "Hey Sally. How's it going, you two?"
Sally shot Shock a death glare. "How's it going? HOW'S IT GOING!? I find out that my crush has a girlfriend! How do you THINK I feel!?"
The grin quickly disappeared from Shock's face. "God, I'm so sorry Sally, I swear I didn't know!" she apologized. "It's just... Lock's being a jerk and Barrel likes you, and I luke Jack, so-"
"Wait, wait. Barrel likes me?" Sally asked, confused. "So... a seven year old chubby Jack wanna-be likes me!?"
"Nah, he's older. Way older. Like me. We just haven't aged because Mr. Oogie, well, he wanted us to stay young forever. Something about being more mischievous and stuff like that. So actually, Barrel's, like, twenty," Shock informed Sally. "That makes me twenty-three."
Sally blinked. Her mouth twitched upwards in a grin. "YOU!? Twenty-three!? Impossible!" she laughed. She couldn't help it; the little witch had to be lying!
Shock paused. Why wasn't Jack saying anything? She looked up. Oh. Jack had left, probably to go to bed. She sighed. "Yes. Soon, I'll take an aging potion I made and marry Jack. There's just one possible side effect that I'm worried about..."
Sally's laughter stopped. "Side effect? And you're still going to make yourself age, just for Jack?" she asked. "Mind if I ask what the effect might be?"
Shock looked down at the toes of her high-heeled boots. "Well... on the bugs and rodents the boys and I tested it on... half of them died." There was a few seconds of complete silence. "I haven't told Jack. He'd forbid me if he knew. I just want him to be happy; I'm doing this for him."
Any hatred that Sally might have felt quickly disappeared. "You'd do that for Jack?" Shock nodded. "But how will you do it without him noticing?" Sally continued.
Shock frowned. "You know... I haven't thought about that part yet..." she admitted, blushing.
Sally thought for a moment. "Not the treehouse... your friends would notice. Hmm... I'd suggest the doctor's place, except... Jewel..." she said with a small frown.
Shock looked up. "The doctor's place is probably the only place Jack would never think to look. Um... could you distract him, if he does come by? I'd like it to be a surprise, you know, and... yeah. Please?"
Sally smiled. She could learn to live with her crush and this witch being a couple. "Sure, Shock. Yes, I'll keep him away."
"Thank you Sally!" Shock said happily. "I have the stuff in my bag, including larger clothes. Um... can we go now before Jack returns?"
Sally laughed. "Of course! Follow me!" She led the way to town, occasionally looking over her shoulder at Shock, who followed slowly and looked around nervously. After about fifteen minutes, they reached Finklestein's lab. "Come on in, I'll distract the doctor," Sally whispered. Shock nodded, a worried look on her face, and crept inside.
Shock reached Sally's room, remembering the fact that the doctor locked her inside once in a while. She pulled the door shut behind her and rummaged through her bag, pulling out a small vial with a greenish liquid inside. She pulled out a dark purple dress and another set of high-heeled boots and set them aside, then uncorked the vial. She hesitated, then drank the liquid.
Sally finally escaped from the doctor and hurried to her room. She pulled the door open and slipped inside. Shutting the door behind her, she gasped. "Shock? Are you okay?" she asked the little witch, who was trembling, curled up in a ball. "Shock!? Answer me!" The witch groaned in reply, her eyes squeezed tightly shut. "Shock...?"
Shock forced herself to her feet as she began to grow. She had a look of pain on her face, and fell over sideways. A few minutes later, Shock relaxed and stood up. She quickly discareded her old, now small clothes and donned the newer dress and boots she had laid out. "S-sally?" she asked softly. "Where's Jack?"
The two walked through the streets of Halloweentown, Shock attracting some attention. She was taller, about Sally's height, but still like a tomboy... she wasn't as curvy as other women, but she had developed some. Her hat was still perched on her head, her wavy bluish hair sticking out beneath it. Their searching finally paid off. In the middle of town, Sally and Shock found Jack talking to the Mayor. "Jack!" Sally yelled.
Jack looked up. "Hey Sally!" he called, grinning. He turned back to the Mayor, then paused. He did a double-take. "Shock!? Is that you!?" he gasped.
Shock nodded shyly, blushing. "Um... don't you like it? I did it for you..." she mumbled, suddenly not sure if her decision was a good one.
"God, Shock, I love it!" Jack grinned as he walked past the Mayor and hugged Shock.
Sally smiled. Even without her ability to foresee events, she knew this would be a wedding nobody would forget. She absent-mindedly hugged Barrel, who had wandered into town and stood by her. Barrel smiled and hugged Sally back, doing his "cute-boy" act. Jack and Shock chatted as they walked back to Jack's house, much to the dismay of the Mayor. "Jack! We have to plan for next Halloween!" the Mayor wailed. He was ignored as the Pumpkin King and witch walked out of sight, quickly followed by Sally and Barrel.
FINI.

Please note that I do not hate Sally. As I mentioned, I had an urge to write this. The little voice said to, and I obey the voice... and my muse. For some reason, he agreed to me writing this. Hmm... makes one wonder what he's up to...
